Are music lessons for kids only? A 2009 study found that 81% of people who do not play an instrument indicate that not doing so is a big regret in their lives. Of those, over 60% felt that they were too old to learn. At the Rawlins Music Academy we believe that a person is never too old to learn.

We currently have instructors for the following instruments: piano, guitar, flute, clarinet, violin, trombone, and voice. Costs are $20 for a 1/2 hour lesson, $30 for a 1 hour lesson.
We also have rehearsal space available at a cost of $10/hour.
Rawlins Music Academy Staff
Lesa Vasquez is the Office Administrator. Lesa's responsibilites include: scheduling, billing, advertising, maintenance of files, contact with students and parents, and all other 'behind the scenes' office work.

Lesa is also a percussionist in Jubilante- the large mixed ensemble of JECC- and she is a member of Joyful Ringers!- the English handbell choir.
Private Instructors
The Academy currently has a number of private instructors to provide music education on a variety of instruments, inluding, but not limited to: piano, guitar, clarinet, flute, trombone, and voice.
